Please send us your CV or a link to your LinkedIn profile, along with a covering email explaining why you think you’d be a great fit with our team. Tell us a bit about yourself. What are your passions and your interests outside of work? Why do you think you’d fit in with us?
If you’re invited for interview, firstly make sure you dress in a way that you feel comfortable. Look at the photos on our website, and don’t feel you have to wear a suit. We generally don’t. Your first interview may be face to face or over the telephone, depending on the number of candidates we have applying for the role. We will want to find out what you’ve achieved so far, where you want your career to go next and what you can bring to DBD. We will also want to know what you’re passionate about, what you like doing when not at work, and most importantly whether you’ll fit into our fun, friendly, collaborative and hard-working team.
Your second interview will usually involve meeting some other members of our team and will involve a more detailed examination of your skills and capabilities. We may give you a case study to prepare in advance and present to us, or for some roles we may give you a test to take at the interview. But don’t be afraid, we will be friendly, encouraging and eager to hear what you have to say.
We usually decide very quickly whether we’d like to make you an offer of a position, and will follow up the second interview within a few days with a decision. If you also are happy to proceed (and it is a two way thing of course), we will then make you a formal written offer providing full details of your salary, package and other benefits.
